  • On hot summer days you really crave light, refreshing food. I found a recipe for just such a light summer salad in a fashion magazine. The combination of berries and fruit with cucumber is a little unusual. Don't dismiss it right away — try making it, you won't regret it. This light strawberry salad is very easy to make and an invigorating dish on hot summer days. Wash and dry the salad ingredients. Cut the strawberries lengthwise in half, and the pear and peach into thin slices. Using a blender, blend a few strawberries with plain yogurt. Take clear glasses and layer the prepared ingredients: at the bottom, pieces of peach, then slices of pear, then pieces of cucumber, and sliced strawberries on top. Pour the prepared yogurt sauce over everything. You can add a little powdered sugar to the sauce — it won't hurt the flavor. The result is a low-calorie, very tasty salad. I recommend it for breakfast to anyone watching their figure, as well as fans of healthy eating. Enjoy!
