Quick Sausage Soup with Sautéed Vegetables

For the vegetable base, finely chop one onion, put it in a skillet set on the stove, and add 2 to 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil.

Cut 300 to 400 g of assorted sausage and cured meats into small pieces.

Put all the chopped sausage into a suitable pot and fry it without any oil over high heat, stirring.

Coarsely grate one medium carrot, add it to the skillet with the onion, and sauté the vegetables for 3 to 4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the carrot softens.

Coarsely grate two dill pickles, add them to the skillet, and simmer the vegetables together for about 2 minutes over medium heat, stirring.
