Step-by-step cooking
I just love fish salads – nutritious, easy to prepare, suitable for breakfast and for a gala dinner. Fish salad with smoked cod is my favorite culinary recipe.
I usually start cooking with pickling onions: squeeze the juice from half a lemon, add water and spices. With the resulting marinade, I pour the onion cut into rings for 10-15 minutes.
Now my most difficult and least favorite activity is cleaning fish. Our soldiers are lucky that in the army they are punished by peeling potatoes, not fish. In general, our "goldfish" needs to be cleaned of skin and bones and disassembled into small slices. I advise you to first peel the fish from the skin and cut it along the back – this will make it easier to remove all the bones.
Then I cut the hard-boiled eggs and pickled cucumbers and mix all the ingredients. In summer, I add only fresh cucumbers to the salad, but it's a matter of taste – pickled ones give the food an unusual shade.
Now it remains to fill the salad with mayonnaise, add spices and herbs and a delicious fish salad with smoked cod is ready to serve.
