Cooking method
- For fans of all things Chinese, here's a recipe for a glass noodle salad with radish and bell pepper. It looks striking on any festive table. Pour boiling water over the glass noodles for a few minutes, then drain them in a colander. Finely shred the vegetables — carrots, onion, cabbage, sweet pepper, and radish — and sauté them in a skillet with hot oil. Cut the meat (whatever kind you like best) into thin strips and stir-fry it in oil with the seasonings: minced garlic, black and red ground pepper, soy sauce, and jusay (garlic chives). Let the meat cook in the spices for a few minutes. Toss the noodles, sautéed vegetables, and meat together in a bowl. Then mound the salad on a platter and garnish with lime wedges. This glass noodle salad is good either warm or cold. Enjoy!
