1. Boil a meat or vegetable broth. Strain it.
2. Bring to a boil and add the buckwheat.
3. Boil for about 15 minutes.
4. Peel the onion and garlic.
5. Remove the seeds from the chili pepper.
6. Chop the pepper, along with the onion and garlic.
7. Pour olive oil into a pan, heat it, and add the chopped vegetables.
8. Fry for 5–7 minutes.
9. Pour tomato juice or paste into the broth. Add the diced tomatoes and the sauté.
10. Boil for 5 minutes. Add salt.
11. Grind the dried basil. Press the garlic through a press. Mix with grated cheese and a spoonful of olive oil.
12. Add the resulting mixture to the soup before serving.
