Composition / ingredients
Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
To bake juicy turkey fillet in foil, prepare the necessary ingredients. Take kefir fatter. The fatter the kefir, the softer the meat will turn out. If you use ready-made spice mixes, be sure to read the composition on the package. Often, salt and pepper are already present in such mixtures. Keep this in mind, otherwise you risk over-salting and over-peppering the dish.
Step 2:
Wash the fillets and dry them thoroughly with paper towels. With a sharp narrow knife, make incisions along the entire perimeter of the meat.
Step 3:
Pour kefir into the bowl in which you will marinate the turkey. Add lemon juice and spices. Mix everything well.
Step 4:
Put the turkey fillet in a bowl with the marinade so that the marinade completely covers the meat. Leave the turkey to marinate for 1-1.5 hours at room temperature, if longer, put the meat in the refrigerator. The longer the meat is marinated, the more tender it will eventually turn out. If possible, leave the fillets in the refrigerator overnight.
Step 5:
Remove the turkey fillet from the marinade and transfer to a double sheet of foil.
Step 6:
Carefully wrap the meat in foil so that the juice does not leak out during baking and transfer to a baking sheet.
Step 7:
Bake the breast in preheated to 200°With the oven on the "Top + bottom + convection" mode for about 40 minutes. Then unwrap the foil, grease the meat with the remaining marinade and return to the oven. Bake until golden brown for about 25 minutes, periodically greasing the meat with juice from the bottom of the mold. Determine the exact baking time and temperature according to the characteristics of your oven.
Step 8:
Transfer the finished turkey breast to a plate, cut into serving slices and serve to the table with any side dish. Enjoy your meal!
