Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
How to make aspic pie with mayonnaise and sour cream with cabbage? Prepare the products. Tear off the top leaves of the cabbage, wash it under running water and wipe it with a towel. Cut off the required amount.
Step 2:
Prepare the filling. How to make the filling? Finely chop the prepared cabbage. I use a special shredding grater for this purpose, the cabbage turns out to be very finely chopped. Add salt to the cabbage, then mash it well with your hands so that the cabbage will release the juice and become softer. Wash the dill greens, dry them with a paper towel and chop them finely. Add the dill to the cabbage and mix.
Step 3:
Grease the baking dish with butter. Transfer the chopped cabbage with dill to a baking dish.
Step 4:
If desired, you can spread butter plates on top or pour melted butter over the cabbage, the filling will be more fragrant and juicier. Sprinkle with ground black pepper on top.
Step 5:
Now prepare the dough. How to make dough? Take a bowl, beat the eggs into it. Add mayonnaise, sour cream, sugar and salt.
Step 6:
Stir the dough until smooth, I use a whisk.
Step 7:
Add the flour mixed with baking powder in parts. Pre-sift the flour. It is important to sift the flour to saturate it with oxygen. Then the baking will turn out to be airy and will rise well when baking. Mix the flour well with other products. The dough should have the consistency of thick sour cream.
Step 8:
Pour the dough over the cabbage and shake the mold a little so that the dough is evenly distributed over it. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top of the pie on mayonnaise and sour cream with cabbage.
Step 9:
Preheat the oven to 180 °C and send the pie form into it. Bake the pie for 40 minutes, it should become golden on top and dry inside. Let the finished cake stand for a while, then serve it on the table. Bon appetit!
You can experiment with the filling for such a filling pie by adding, for example, diced sausage or fried mushrooms to cabbage. You can also add onions and carrots, tomatoes, etc. to cabbage.
Bon appetit!
When the top layer of baking is slightly browned, check it for readiness: pierce it with a wooden skewer in several places, if the skewer comes out dry, then the mold (or baking tray) can be removed from the oven.
Be sure to wash the eggs before use, since even the seemingly clean shell may contain harmful bacteria. It is best to use food detergents and a brush.
Be prepared for the fact that you may need more or less flour than indicated in the recipe. Focus not on the amount of flour, but on the desired consistency of the dough. To avoid mistakes, read about flour and its properties!
