Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
Ingredients.
Step 2:
If you use frozen breast, it is better to defrost it at room temperature naturally. Wash the breast, dry it, remove the skin. Carefully separate the meat from the bone with a sharp knife. Divide the fillet into medium-sized pieces.
Step 3:
Let's do the marinade. For this dish, the marinade plays a major role. Since the breast is the dry part of the bird, we need to give the meat juiciness. The marinade, which includes lemon juice, will perfectly cope with this task. So, squeeze the juice out of two lemons. You can use a citrus juicer.
Step 4:
For the marinade, we take a spacious, convenient container in which the breast will then be marinated. Wash the parsley, dry it, finely chop it. Combine lemon juice, honey, olive oil, parsley, herbs of Provence, basil, salt. Mix everything well. You can use any aromatic herbs to taste that are suitable for baking chicken.
Step 5:
Pieces of chicken breast are lowered into the marinade. It is desirable that the chicken is covered with liquid as much as possible. This should be taken into account when choosing dishes. We leave the breast to marinate for 1 hour.
Step 6:
After the time has elapsed, we transfer the fillets to a baking dish together with the marinade. Bake in a preheated 200 degree oven for about 35 minutes. During this time, the marinade will partially evaporate.
Step 7:
My orange, cut with a sharp knife into thin circles.
Step 8:
Remove the form with chicken breast from the oven, lay out orange circles on top and between the pieces. Put the mold back in the oven for 15 minutes. We take it out and serve it immediately. Enjoy your meal!
It is better to use glass dishes for cooking marinade, not plastic or aluminum, in order to avoid the formation of undesirable reactions of marinade acids with the walls of the dishes.
Serve chicken breast in marinade hot with any side dish or fresh vegetables.
