Cookies in a hurry through a meat grinder

Cookies melting in your mouth - fast, simple, very tasty! I still can't forget the taste of Grandma's cookies, which she always treated us to. She introduced her older granddaughters to the kitchen, showed them how to cook. We especially liked passing the dough through a manual meat grinder - so interesting! Now I cook such cookies with my sons - they also really like this business (who said it was girly?!)

Cooking method

Cooking time: 40 min

Prepare the dough:

- heat the butter a little in the microwave (you can just leave it at room temperature for an hour);

- break the eggs into a bowl, pour sugar and vanilla sugar, as well as salt;

- rub the egg mass with a spoon;

- softened butter is combined with egg mass;

- we introduce flour in small portions, knead the dough (it is very important not to pour all the flour at once, as the dough may turn out too steep. Sometimes, on the contrary, the dough turns out to be very soft - in this case, we send it to the refrigerator for 30 minutes so that it becomes more plastic). Ideally, the dough should not stick to your hands, be elastic.

And now let's make cookies:

- roll the dough into a sausage and pass it through a meat grinder, installing a grate with large holes;

- cut the scrolled mass at a distance of 5-6 cm to get a medium - sized cookie;

- we give the desired shape (circle, flower - whatever you want more. And also - the thickness should be the same, so that the cookies are evenly baked);

- we spread the cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment and send them to bake in the oven, preheated to 240-250 degrees, for 15 minutes.

It is very important to store such cookies in a closed container - a jar with a lid or any other vessel that closes so that it does not dry out.

That's all, rosy cookies look and smell very appetizing!
