Pasta with Chicken and Bacon
Another tasty pasta recipe for your collection. You can make this pasta without the bacon, but in many recipes — Italian and otherwise — it's a must. And it's true: with bacon the pasta turns out far more fragrant, not to mention the flavor — that part speaks for itself.
Cooking method
-
Step 1:
Gather all the ingredients.
-
Step 2:
Cut the bacon into small, thin pieces.
-
Step 3:
Wash the chicken fillet, pat it dry, and cut it into small pieces.
-
Step 4:
Melt the butter in a skillet.
-
Step 5:
Fry the bacon in it for about 5 minutes until golden. Transfer the bacon to a plate.
-
Step 6:
Pour vegetable oil into the skillet where you fried the bacon. I didn't need any oil, since there was plenty of bacon fat left in the pan. Add the chicken fillet. Fry, stirring, for about 7 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
-
Step 7:
Return the bacon to the skillet with the chicken.
-
Step 8:
Pour in the cream.
-
Step 9:
Add salt and pepper and stir. Bring to a boil and simmer over low heat until thickened.
-
Step 10:
While the chicken cooks, boil the pasta in salted water. Drain the cooked pasta in a colander.
-
Step 11:
Add the cooked pasta to the skillet. Stir and take the skillet off the heat.
-
Step 12:
Divide the pasta with chicken and bacon among the plates and sprinkle with grated cheese.
