Perfect Meat-Filled Chebureki

Turn the dough out onto the counter and knead it very well for seven minutes.

Put the dough in a plastic bag and let it rest for thirty minutes.

Put 300 grams of finely chopped onion in a bowl and season with salt to taste.

Mash the onion well in the bowl until it releases its juices.

Add cumin and a black-and-red pepper blend to the onion, to taste.

Add 300 grams of ground meat to the bowl with the onion.

Mix the meat and onion together until smooth.

Add 100 milliliters of beef broth to the filling and mix everything well.

Dust the counter with a little flour, divide the dough into pieces, and roll each one out into a thin round.

Use a suitably sized lid to mark and cut out rounds for the chebureki.

Roll each cut-out round even thinner.

Spread the right amount of filling in an even layer over each round, closer to one edge.

Fold the round in half and press it with your palms to push out the air.

Press the edges of the cheburek firmly with a fork to seal both sides.

Heat a skillet with vegetable oil on the stove and lay the chebureki into the hot oil, frying them on each side until golden.
