Step 1:
How to put out a turkey in sour cream sauce in a frying pan? Prepare the ingredients. Which part of the turkey carcass is better to use? Choose for yourself: it can only be fillets or shins, thighs, wings. I have this fillet. If necessary, defrost the bird in advance.
Step 2:
Peel, rinse, and dry the turkey meat with paper towels. Cut the turkey fillet into small cubes.
Step 3:
Peel the onion. Cut the onion into halves of rings or small cubes. If desired, in addition to onions, you can use carrots - it will give the meat a pleasant sweetness.
Step 4:
Prepare the sour cream sauce. Put a few tablespoons of thick and greasy sour cream in a bowl. Add salt and ground black pepper to the sour cream. If desired, you can add any more seasonings or spices, chopped fresh herbs. Pour half a glass of water into the sour cream, mix until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.
Step 5:
Pour vegetable oil into a frying pan and heat it on the stove. Put the chopped onion on the heated vegetable oil. Fry it, stirring and not letting it brown too much.
Step 6:
Add sliced turkey meat to the onion. Fry it with onions over low heat, stirring with a wooden spatula so that it lightly browns on all sides. Try not to over-dry the meat, do not fry it to a crust.
Step 7:
Pour the prepared sour cream sauce into the pan with the meat. Stir, cover the pan with a lid and simmer the dish over medium heat for about 15-25 minutes. Then remove the lid from the pan, mix its contents and simmer the dish for about 5 minutes without the lid so that the sauce thickens. Serve the dish to the table with or without a side dish.
