Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
For this recipe, I used 5 large potato tubers. Peel the potatoes, rinse in cold water and make 3-4 transverse incisions not to the end - about half. If the potatoes are young, then they can not be cleaned - it will be enough to wash them well.
Step 2:
We put the potatoes in a bowl, pour it with 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil and sprinkle with salt, try to get a little oil and salt into the incisions so that the potatoes are salted from the inside. Peel the garlic and pass it through the press, add it to the potatoes and mix it again. At this stage, you can add seasonings to your liking, for example, rosemary, black pepper, etc. I left everything unchanged.
Step 3:
Unfold the foil roll and cut off 5 rectangular sheets of such a size that you can wrap the potatoes and there are no gaps left. We put potatoes in the middle of a leaf greased with vegetable oil and roll up the foil with a bag. So we prepare all the tubers.
Step 4:
Put the foil-wrapped potatoes in a baking dish - I used a ceramic one. We send it to the oven at a maximum temperature (250 degrees) for 35 minutes.
Step 5:
After 35 minutes, we unwrap the potatoes and send them back to the oven so that the potatoes are browned - if this is not important to you, then you can skip this step. The total time of potatoes in the oven is 45 minutes. However, this figure depends on the potato variety: some varieties are cooked longer, some faster. In any case, during the preparation of the dish, you will need to look into the oven a couple of times and poke the potatoes with a knife for readiness.
Step 6:
While our potatoes are ripening, we will make the final touch: melt the butter, chop the dill finely.
Step 7:
Remove the finished potatoes from the mold, put them in a deep dish, pour butter and sprinkle with dill. The dish is ready to serve!
Oven-baked potatoes - taste like cooked in nature.
