Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
For the recipe, I took ready-made minced chicken. Put the minced meat in a bowl, add chopped onion, egg, salt to taste and a mixture of peppers (or other seasonings if desired).
Step 2:
Mix everything well.
Step 3:
Now about lavash. I used a purchased lavash of three sheets (each weighing 100 grams), I needed one sheet. If you take a whole pita bread, then cut a rectangle measuring 30 by 40 cm with scissors - mine was exactly this size, I measured it with a ruler especially for the recipe. Apply the filling evenly, not reaching the edges by about 2-3 cm. Leave for 5 minutes so that the pita bread is soaked with meat juice.
Step 4:
First we bend the edges of the long side (which is 40 cm), and then we roll up the whole pita bread roll, trying to fold as tightly as possible. It turns out like this "sausage ".
Step 5:
We spread the roll on a baking dish or baking sheet, you can put parchment paper or foil under it, you do not need to lubricate them with anything. Lubricate the roll with a mixture of eggs and mayonnaise, which we previously whipped with a whisk. We send the roll to the oven, preheated to 160 degrees for 30 minutes.
Step 6:
After 30 minutes, we take the roll out of the oven and spread thinly sliced pieces of cheese on it - it took me 7 slices. You can sprinkle with cheese, grated on a coarse grater, but I liked it better this way, since it turned out to be portioned pieces. We put the roll back to bake for another 10 minutes, the temperature can be slightly lowered.
Step 7:
We take the roll out of the oven, cut it into portions and serve it hot to the table. Additionally, you can decorate the roll with fresh herbs - I have chopped green onions.
Lavash roll with minced meat is a dish that will delight you with its appearance and taste.
