Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
Sift the flour together with baking powder. Flour can be sifted using a sieve, or you can use a special mug. I use the latter. Very convenient. After sifting, sometimes clumps are visible at the bottom of the mug. Without sifting, it would be difficult to knead them in the dough. As a result, white spots would be visible in the baking. And sifting helps to separate small stones and other impurities from flour.
Step 2:
Next, add softened butter to the sifted flour. It is advisable to get the oil out of the refrigerator in advance so that it thaws a little at room temperature. If there is no such possibility, then you can put the oil in the microwave for a couple of minutes by setting the "Defrost" mode. Please note that the oil should not be overheated too much. It should not get hot. It should be only slightly softened.
Step 3:
Then we grind butter and flour with our hands. Working with softened butter, of course, is much more convenient. Cold butter will not mix with flour.
Step 4:
Then pour out the condensed milk. Gently knead all the ingredients until the dough becomes homogeneous, without lumps. It should be soft and should not stick to your hands.
Step 5:
We form a ball from the dough, put it in a plastic bag and send it to the refrigerator for half an hour. During this time, the dough will cool down, become more elastic and it will be easier to roll out.
Step 6:
After 30 minutes, we take the dough out of the refrigerator, divide it into two parts. First we work with one part, then with the other. It's more convenient this way. Roll out the dough. And using cookie cutters, we give the dough the desired shape.
Step 7:
Cover the baking sheet with parchment paper. We put cookies on it. Bake at 180 degrees for 15 minutes. Cookies bake quickly, do not overdo it in the oven.
This cookie goes well with coffee, tea. And the kids will happily feast on it with milk or cocoa.
Enjoy your meal. Cook with pleasure!
