Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
Prepare the ingredients for the cake. The cooking process is so fast that you can immediately turn on the oven to warm up to a temperature of 180 degrees. Margarine as a cheaper product or butter as more natural should be removed from the refrigerator in advance so that it is at room temperature, if there is no time to soften the butter in natural conditions, then you can put it in the microwave for 1 minute to warm up.
Step 2:
Put the softened butter in a deep bowl. Add sour cream, baking powder. It can be replaced with soda slaked with vinegar. Pour in the sifted wheat flour. Flour may require a little more or less in contrast to the amount specified in the ingredients, since the density and quality of flour varies from manufacturer to manufacturer.
Step 3:
Mix the ingredients, grind the flour and butter into crumbs. The dough should be soft, but dense, not stringy.
Step 4:
Put the sand crumbs on a baking sheet and send them to the oven. As a rule, the dough on the edges of the baking sheet begins to brown faster than in the middle, so after 7 minutes we take the baking sheet out of the oven and mix the dough so that it does not bake in one large layer, the sand crumbs should be separate balls.
Step 5:
Put the baking sheet with the dough in the oven again and bring it to readiness. The whole process takes about 20 minutes. We take the baking sheet with the dough out of the oven, let the dough cool down directly on the baking sheet so that the sand crumbs become firm and crispy.
Step 6:
Meanwhile, prepare the cream for the cake. The butter should be soft.
Step 7:
We cook condensed milk or buy ready-made boiled condensed milk, the first option, of course, is better, it turns out a natural finished product. Softened butter is whipped with condensed milk until a cream is homogeneous in consistency, add a pinch of vanilla, mix.
Step 8:
Pour the sand crumbs into a bowl with cream and mix them well together so that the cream completely covers the entire dough. We spread the mass on a flat plate, giving it the shape of an anthill.
Step 9:
Sprinkle poppy seeds on top, imitating a real anthill with ants, decorate with berries. The cake is ready. We let it cool and soak in the refrigerator and serve it to the table with tea. Have a nice tea party!
