Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
Dough. To prepare the dough for buns, we will need: flour; warm water; sugar; butter; dry yeast and salt.
Step 2:
Pour warm water into a deep bowl. Add sugar and salt. Mix thoroughly until the crystals are completely dissolved.
Step 3:
Pour in the dry yeast and mix again. Before adding yeast, you need to read the instructions. Since there is yeast, which immediately needs to be mixed with flour. We also need yeast, which needs to be activated with a warm liquid - water or milk. We need the second option.
Step 4:
Add 2-3 tablespoons of flour. Mix everything with a whisk.
Step 5:
Leave for 10 minutes in the heat until the foam cap appears on the surface.
Step 6:
Sift flour. Melt the butter and cool. Pour activated yeast and melted butter into the sifted flour.
Step 7:
Knead a soft elastic dough.
Step 8:
Cover the dough with a towel and leave to rise for 1 hour. After the time has elapsed, knead the dough, cover with a towel again and leave to rise for another 30 minutes.
Step 9:
Filling. For the filling for the buns, we will need: sugar and vanilla sugar.
Step 10:
Mix sugar with vanilla sugar.
Step 11:
Knead the dough that has come up again and roll it out on a floured table into an oval. Flour should not be spared, otherwise the dough will stick to the surface and it will be difficult to roll it up.
Step 12:
Sprinkle the dough evenly with the sugar mixture.
Step 13:
Roll the dough into a roll.
Step 14:
Cut into 10-12 pieces of the same size.
Step 15:
Expand the edges of the dough from one edge, giving it the shape of a rose. From the other side of the bun, it is better to pinch so that the sugar does not flow out of them. Place the buns on a baking sheet lined with parchment. Bake the buns for about 25 minutes at 190 ° C.
Step 16:
Serve the buns warm with milk or tea/coffee. Bon appetit!
You can add ground cinnamon to the filling.
I also saw buns where a piece of marmalade is added to the middle. But you need to make sure that the bottom edges of the buns are very well pinched, otherwise the marmalade will simply leak out.
