Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
To prepare honey cakes, prepare the necessary ingredients.
Step 2:
Take a non-stick saucepan, put the chopped butter in it and add the liquid honey. If the honey is solid, then it can be melted in a microwave oven. Put the pan on the fire and wait for the butter to melt.
Step 3:
While the butter is melting, combine the eggs with sugar in a separate bowl. Mix them.
Step 4:
In the melted, not quite hot butter, add eggs with sugar and mix everything until smooth.
Step 5:
Put the pan back on the fire and bring the mass to a boil. Add the baking soda and remove the pan from the heat. When soda is added, the mass will turn into foam and increase in volume. Actively mix everything and leave to cool to room temperature.
Step 6:
Then add the sifted flour and knead the dough. It is not necessary to add extra flour, otherwise the dough will become tight and stiff.
Step 7:
Wrap the finished dough with cling film and put it in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours.
Step 8:
For the stencil, draw the number 2 on the A4 sheet and cut out along the contour.
Step 9:
Divide the finished dough into 3 parts. Roll out each 4-6 mm thick and cut along the contour of the stencil with a sharp knife.
Step 10:
Prick the dough with a fork over the entire surface so that it does not swell when baking. Put the cake in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees, for 5-6 minutes. Bake 3 cakes and cool them.
Step 11:
For the cream, cool the heavy cream. And remove the curd cheese from the refrigerator in advance so that it becomes room temperature. this way it will more easily interfere with the cream.
Step 12:
Combine cream with powdered sugar and whisk into a stable cream. Add the curd cheese to it and stir it in.
Step 13:
Using a pastry bag, spread the cream over the entire surface of the cake.
Step 14:
Then cover with the second cake and repeat the layers again. Assemble the cake. Put the cake in the refrigerator overnight, covered with something airtight. This is necessary so that the moisture from the cream does not evaporate, but impregnates the cakes so that they are soft.
Step 15:
Decorate the finished cake with sweets, cookies or other goodies. Have a nice tea party!
