Cooking method
We wash the cabbage, remove the upper leaves and finely chop it. You can also cut cabbage into small cubes.
Bacon and ham are cut into strips and fried in a frying pan.
Add meat to cabbage.
Peel the onion and chop it finely. Peeled carrots can be grated on a coarse grater.
In the same pan where the ham and bacon were fried, fry the onions and carrots. The mixture is salted, peppered and added to the cabbage.
Thoroughly mix the mixture of vegetables and meat, add lemon juice.
In the prepared pots, we put the bay leaf on the bottom, then tightly tamp the vegetables with meat.
Put crushed garlic on top.
Each pot must be filled with meat broth to the very edges.
It is necessary to stew the pots for at least an hour until fully cooked at a temperature of about two hundred degrees in the oven.
As you can see, the recipe for cooking cabbage in pots is absolutely nothing complicated.
