Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
Necessary ingredients. Jam is better to take thick, but if you have liquid, do not worry, add a couple of teaspoons of starch. If you use only yolks instead of eggs, the dough will be softer. In this case, reduce the flour by 50-60 grams.
Step 2:
First of all, I beat eggs with sugar.
Step 3:
Add margarine to the egg-sugar mixture. Mixing it up. I chop margarine with a knife into small crumbs.
Step 4:
Add soda. Mixing it up.
Step 5:
Add the sifted flour. I knead the dough.
Step 6:
I chop the dough with a knife. I add flour and rub. It will turn out to be such a dense lumpy mass.
Step 7:
Then I knead the dough with my hands, form a bun, wrap it in a bag and put it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Step 8:
After half an hour I take out the dough, divide it into two unequal parts. Approximately 3/4 and 1/4 I line the bowl with two strips of parchment to make the pie easier to get. I roll out the dough into a circle slightly larger than the diameter of the bowl of the slow cooker, put it in the bowl, form small sides.
Step 9:
I spread the jam not to the edge of the sides.
Step 10:
Sprinkle pieces (balls) of the remaining dough on top of the jam. I bake in baking mode for one hour.
Step 11:
The finished cake should be allowed to lie in the bowl for 5-10 minutes so that the dough grabs, then you can get it out. You can serve the pie as it is, or sprinkle with powdered sugar. Enjoy your meal.
Cooked in a Redmond RMC-90 slow cooker with a power of 860 watts
I used to spread a mesh of dough on top of jam, but one day I saw an idea on the Internet to sprinkle the pie with pieces of dough. Since then, the pie is sprinkled with torn pieces, then covered with balls, then I just rub the dough on a grater on top. In general, you can choose the option that you like best.
Another way to knead the dough: Sift the flour on the table, make a recess in the middle, and pour in the eggs with sugar. Knead, gradually adding flour from the inner edge. Then add margarine and chop the dough with a knife. Next according to the recipe.
Many novice housewives are afraid that the dough will spread, for them I described a kneading option with step-by-step photos.
