Cooking method

Cooking time: 40 min
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1

How do you make spaghetti with chicken in cream sauce? Start by gathering all your ingredients. Choose good-quality durum wheat spaghetti so it holds up during cooking. For the chicken, use any boneless cut you like. Add as much garlic as you please.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2

Cut the chicken into large pieces. Heat a skillet until hot and add a little vegetable oil. Add the chicken and brown it on all sides until golden.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3

Peel the onion and garlic and rinse them in cold water. Finely chop the onion. Cut the garlic into pieces or press it through a garlic press.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4

Add the chopped onion and garlic to the chicken. Stir and cook everything together for a couple of minutes, then add a little hot water and bring it to a boil.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5

Season with a little salt and spices to taste. I use paprika and dried basil, but use whatever you like, or just ground pepper. Cover the skillet and simmer the chicken over low heat for about 15 minutes (adjust for your stove).

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6

Meanwhile, cook the spaghetti separately in boiling water according to the package directions—usually about 15 minutes. It should be tender but not mushy. Drain in a colander and rinse with cold water.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7

At the end of cooking, pour the cream over the chicken and stir.

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8

Warm the chicken in the cream for another 2–3 minutes. You can add the spaghetti right into the sauce in the skillet and toss everything together.

  9. Step 9:

    Step 9

Or plate up some spaghetti and spoon the chicken in cream sauce over the top! Enjoy!
