Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
Let's start with zucchini. I have 2 zucchini, weighing about 500 g each, it turns out about 25 rolls. Cut the squash into slices about 3-4 mm thick. It is not necessary to cut very thinly, because in the process of roasting the zucchini will be lost": you won't feel it. It is not necessary to salt it, because both ham and cheese products are quite salty.
Step 2:
For 2 zucchini we will need about 600 g of ham. You can buy ready-made slicing. And you can save money and cut the ham yourself.
Step 3:
In addition, for rolls we will need about 400 g of any hard cheese you like. You can buy ready-made slicing or cut the cheese yourself.
Step 4:
Now you can twist the rolls. We put ham and cheese on the zucchini, while leaving 4-5 cm at the end of the slice free, and tightly roll up the roll. You can fix the roll with skewers for barbecue or ordinary toothpicks.
Step 5:
Preparing breading. In a separate bowl, lightly beat 4 medium eggs. Add 1/2 tsp. without a hill of salt, 50 ml of milk and any favorite seasoning. Mix everything together. In addition, we will need 250-300 g of breadcrumbs.
Step 6:
First, dip the rolls in the egg-milk mixture, and then generously breaded them in breadcrumbs. Before you start breading the rolls, put the oil to heat up.
Step 7:
The amount of oil depends on the size and depth of your dishes. Remember that during the frying process, the rolls should be almost completely covered with oil. Periodically turning over, we cook the rolls for no more than 3 minutes. Of course, they can be cooked longer, but in this case it will not be very "audible" zucchini. We put the finished rolls on a napkin and let the excess oil drain.
Step 8:
As promised, the rolls are very juicy, tender and appetizing. They are good both hot and cold. Enjoy your meal!
A few words in favor of deep-frying rolls. Firstly, during the cooking process, a crispy crust is formed, which seals the juices inside and the rolls remain very juicy. Secondly, deep-frying is a quick way of cooking, so it allows you to save a lot of useful things that are contained in rolls. Thirdly, foods that are properly deep—fried are almost always very tasty!)
