Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
Prepare the necessary ingredients for cooking. For frying, you can use pure lard, but I still prefer lard with a meat layer. Navigate according to your taste. Peel the onion from the husk and rinse in cold running water.
Step 2:
Cut the lard with a layer into pieces and put it in a well-heated frying pan, with the addition of a small amount of vegetable oil.
Step 3:
Fry it on high heat on both sides until golden brown.
Step 4:
While the meat is frying, cut the onion into half rings or slightly smaller. It is not necessary to grind it too much.
Step 5:
Add the chopped onion to the pan to the meat and mix.
Step 6:
Make less heat and fry everything together for 5-7 minutes. During this time, the onion will become softer and slightly gilded. If the meat is still too tough, then cover the pan with a lid and cook over low heat for another 10 minutes.
Step 7:
Put the finished dish into plates and serve hot. Potato dishes, for example, mashed potatoes, are perfect as a side dish. Bon appetit!
You can serve any vegetables to this dish as a side dish. Even fresh, even baked. You can make a salad from fresh vegetables or just cut them separately on a plate.
This is a great hot snack for gatherings with friends or just as an addition to dinner.
Fried lard contains a lot of calories, so it is not recommended for people who have health problems or follow special diets. Therefore, people with gastrointestinal tract problems should refrain from eating such snacks.
But, despite this, it also contains useful substances.
To make the dish tender and soft, choose the brisket of a young pig. It will cook very quickly. In order to be able to cut the fat into thin slices, it needs to be slightly frozen.
You can even fry the brisket on the grill.
