Step 1:
Gather your ingredients.

Rinse the wild strawberries.

Step 3:
Stir the water and sugar together.

Step 4:
Set the pot on the heat and bring it to a boil.

Step 5:
Add the strawberries to the syrup.

Cook another 5 minutes over medium heat, skimming the foam and stirring.

Step 7:
Fill your prepared jars with the jam and seal them — any extra, you can just eat as is :)

- Berries vary a lot from one place to another — they grow in different regions, at different temperatures and humidity levels, and it even matters what the weather was like and what time of day they were picked. My wild strawberries were dry, so I add water. If yours give off plenty of juice, you won't need any. The amount can range anywhere from 0 to 200 ml, so use your judgment! Look at my photos — you can see how thick the jam turned out. If yours comes out runny, it's not the recipe's fault; it just means you didn't heed this warning!
