Birch juice kvass with bread crust

Prepare healthy kvass without much hassle! And it's also delicious! I make this kvass in the spring during the birch sap harvest. When there is a lot of juice, I want a variety of drinks: to prepare them for the future, and to drink immediately - our family is big, so drinks are not destined to stand for a long time. This kvass is one of the most favorite variations of cooking - it is drunk first. Try it, I hope you like it too!

Cooking method

Cooking time: 3 h 30 min

Cooking is very simple:

- juice (not fresh, let it stand for a day or two) pour into a pot of suitable volume;

- pour malt;

- add liquid honey;

- we send the pan to the fire and heat it up to 30 degrees;

- meanwhile, we cut rye bread into cubes (it is advisable to take bread that is not the freshest, so that it does not get too wet and the drink does not turn out cloudy, and also, of course, with a crust);

- dry the bread cubes (I do it in the microwave, but if desired, you can dry it in the oven);

- return the warmed kvass to the jar, put the crackers in it;

- without covering the jar with anything, we put it in a warm place and in two or three hours the kvass will be ready;

- the finished drink is filtered and bottled (I immediately put it in a decanter - it is drunk quickly).

Drink to your health!
