Cooking method
In order not to use yeast in the preparation of vodka, grapes should be harvested in dry weather and berries should not be washed before use. On the surface of the berries there are natural, so-called wine yeast - it is thanks to them that the fermentation process will start.
Put the grape cake in a special container for fermentation.
Dilute the sugar in warm water, mix thoroughly until it completely dissolves and pour it into a container for grape cake. Put in a warm place for fermentation. Put a medical rubber glove on the neck of the container and make a small hole in her finger.
As soon as the rubber glove falls off or deflates, the fermentation process is over. The result was a so-called braga.
Strain the braga through several layers of gauze, separating it from the berry pulp. Then distilled through a moonshine distiller to the strength of the product at 40 degrees. If desired, secondary distillation can be carried out, but not necessarily.
Bring the resulting drink to 50 degrees. Then you need to clean the moonshine. To do this, you can use pine nuts. Put a handful of nuts on the bottom of the container and leave for 2-3 weeks. Pine nuts will collect all the essential oils, after which they can be thrown away.
Pour the resulting grape vodka into a glass container, seal it tightly and stand in a dark, cool place for a month and a half for better taste and aroma, after which you can taste it.
Such a drink is stored for a long time - in a cellar for at least a year.
Happy holidays!
