Braised Duck Pieces
Fragrant, delicious duck! Braised duck pieces take a while to cook, but the result is worth it. There's no need to marinate the meat beforehand. It braises in water with spices, which makes it tender and aromatic. Serve the duck pieces with fluffy buckwheat or a potato side dish.

Step 1:
Gather all your ingredients. Cut the duck into small pieces ahead of time. Peel the vegetables.

Rinse the meat well with water and pat it dry.

Brown the duck in oil in a pot until golden.

Pour in the water and set it over low heat. Once it comes to a boil, braise for 15 minutes.

Cut the garlic and onion into medium pieces.

Cut the carrot into small cubes.

Step 7:
Add the vegetables to the pot and stir.

Step 8:
Sprinkle in the dried basil and spices, and salt to taste. Braise the duck pieces for about 1.5 hours.
