Having prepared cabbage according to this recipe, you will get a very interesting dish that will suit not only dinner, but also a festive table.
Bavarian cabbage is prepared quite simply and does not take much time for its preparation.
We wash the cabbage, clean it from the upper leaves, finely chop it.
Peel the onion and cut into half rings of minimum thickness.
Cut the bacon into small pieces.
In a pre-prepared large saucepan, heat a tablespoon of butter and fry the onion for about four minutes.
Put half of the whole chopped cabbage, bacon, spices in a saucepan.
Then spread the remains of butter and cabbage.
Mix water, sugar, salt and apple juice with vinegar.
Pour the finished mixture into a saucepan and bring to a boil.
Place the pan with the whole mass in the oven, heated to 180 degrees for an hour and a half.
Bavarian cabbage is served on the table as a main dish.
