Step 1:

Combine eggs with sugar and beat with a mixer into a fluffy, stable foam. Sift flour with baking powder and add parts to the dough, beating it with a mixer at low speed. Add the orange pulp and grated zest to the dough. Gently mix with a spatula, trying not to precipitate the dough.
Step 7:
Line the bottom of the baking dish with parchment. Lubricate the bottom and walls with butter. Pour the orange batter into the mold and smooth it out. Bake the orange pie for about 30 minutes in a preheated 180 ° C oven.
Step 8:
Remove the finished cake from the mold onto a dish, sprinkle with powdered sugar and crushed zest. Enjoy your meal!
It is better to choose an orange of a sweet variety, with a thick peel. If the orange is sour, you can add 1-2 more tablespoons of sugar to the dough.
