Step 1:
How to bake chicken with potatoes in sour cream in the oven? Prepare everything you need for this. Peel the potatoes and rinse them in running water from dirt. If the chicken is frozen, then it must be removed from the freezer in advance and allowed to defrost at room temperature. Sour cream is suitable for any fat content.
Step 2:
Wash the chicken carcass in running water and dry it with a paper towel to remove excess moisture. Then chop the chicken into several pieces. It is not necessary to do much finely. Let it be in large pieces.
Step 3:
Peel the garlic and pass it through the press. In a separate bowl, combine the chopped garlic, half of the sour cream, salt and spices. Ground pepper and paprika can be used as a spice.
Step 4:
Put the prepared chicken pieces in a bowl and mix everything together. Leave the chicken to stand for 30-60 minutes at room temperature. This is enough time for the chicken to marinate a little.
Step 5:
Put the remaining sour cream in another bowl. Add a little salt.
Step 6:
Cut the peeled potatoes into large pieces and put them in a bowl with sour cream. Mix well so that the potatoes are evenly covered with sour cream on all sides.
Step 7:
For baking, take any heat-resistant mold. Put the potatoes in sour cream in it.
Step 8:
Put the prepared pickled chicken on top of the potatoes. Put the mold in the oven, preheated to 200 degrees, for 1 hour. According to the baking time, be guided by your oven.
Step 9:
The finished potatoes will become soft. And the chicken will be covered with an appetizing, golden crust. If the chicken is pierced with a sharp knife, then a light juice will appear from it. If the juice is pink, then it is not ready yet.
Step 10:
Put the finished dish on plates and serve to the table. Enjoy your meal!
