Step 1:
How to bake potatoes in the peel with garlic in the oven in a rustic way? For baking, choose tubers of approximately the same size. Rinse them thoroughly and rub them with a stiff brush to remove all dirt.
Step 2:
Cut each potato lengthwise into 4 pieces and rinse all the slices in running water to wash off excess starch. Thanks to this, the potatoes will not fall apart when baking. Then put the washed potatoes on a paper towel and blot it very thoroughly from all sides so that there is not a drop of moisture left anywhere.
Step 3:
Combine vegetable oil and crushed garlic in a separate bowl. Add a little salt and spices to taste. As a spice, you can use dry dill, paprika and ground pepper. Or you can use a ready-made seasoning for potatoes. Mix everything well.
Step 4:
Dip each potato slice into this mixture, trying to cover it completely.
Step 5:
Prepare a baking tray. Cover it with cooking paper and spread all the potato slices so that they do not touch. Place a baking sheet with potatoes in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees for 30 minutes. Then put each potato on its side and leave in the oven for another 15-20 minutes.
Step 6:
Remove the finished potatoes from the oven and cool a little. Bon appetit!
The most important plus of this recipe is that the potatoes do not need to be cleaned. And if you use new potatoes, then it will cook even faster.
