Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
How to make the simplest apple pie in the oven? Prepare the products. Take out the necessary ingredients from the refrigerator in advance — the dough will rise better with warm ingredients. Take high-quality butter, without milk fat substitutes, the taste of the finished cake will depend on its taste. The number of apples can be different — it depends on their size and the diameter of the shape.
Step 2:
First of all, melt the butter in any way available. Read more about the methods at the end of the recipe. Cool the melted butter.
Step 3:
Beat the egg into a bowl and start beating it with a mixer, first at low speed, then increase the speed. In the process of whipping, pour in portions of sugar, vanilla and salt. Do not be afraid of salt in sweet pastries — it will act as a flavor enhancer. Vanilla sugar will do instead of vanilla.
Step 4:
Beat the egg until a fluffy light mass. Then pour the milk and about 2/3 of the butter into the egg mass (the rest will go to the top of the pie). Mix the mass again with a mixer.
Step 5:
Add baking powder to the flour, mix. Sift the flour into the liquid ingredients. Due to this, the flour will be saturated with oxygen, which will make the pie more magnificent. Add flour gradually, in small portions, focus on the desired consistency of the dough. Consider the fact that you may need a little more or less flour.
Step 6:
Mix the flour with a regular whisk. You should get a homogeneous dough without lumps, the consistency of liquid sour cream.
Step 7:
Cut the apples into quarters, cut out the middle with the seeds. Cut the quarters into thin slices. If you wish, you can cut off the skin, I left it.
Step 8:
Take a suitable baking dish, I have a detachable one with a diameter of 20cm. Line the bottom and sides of the mold with baking paper — so the pie won't stick for sure. Pour the dough into the mold. Put the apple slices on top. The more they fit, the juicier the pie will turn out.
Step 9:
Sprinkle sugar on top of the pie and pour the remaining butter.
Step 10:
Bake the pie in the oven preheated to 180 ° C, top-bottom mode, without convection, from 30 to 45 minutes. The exact time will depend on the characteristics of your oven. Check readiness with a wooden skewer — it will have to come out dry from the middle.
Step 11:
Remove the finished cake from the oven and cool for about 15 minutes, then free it from the mold and paper. Serve to the table. Enjoy your meal!
Be prepared for the fact that flour may need more or less than indicated in the recipe. Focus not on the amount of flour, but on the desired consistency of the dough. To avoid mistakes, read about flour and its properties!
Important! The size of the mold must match the number of ingredients. If you do not have a shape of a diameter suitable for the recipe or you want to bake a pie or a cake of a larger or smaller size, an article about how to make the right calculations and not make a mistake will help, how to choose the shape of the desired diameter .
Keep in mind that everyone's ovens are different. The temperature and cooking time may differ from those specified in the recipe. To make any baked dish successful, use useful information about the features of ovens !
