Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
How to make bagels with minced meat in the oven? Prepare the necessary ingredients. If necessary, defrost the minced meat in advance on the bottom shelf of the refrigerator. I used mixed pork and beef, but any minced meat will do, for example, pork, beef or chicken. Bagels or drying should be necessarily unsweetened, preferably a small size.
Step 2:
Put the bagels in a deep container and pour warm milk, but not hot, otherwise the drying can turn into porridge. Leave them for about 10-15 minutes (the time depends on the size and thickness of the products). Bagels should become softer. It is important to make sure that they retain their shape and do not spread out. Turn the bagels over from time to time so that they are soaked equally on all sides. Then put them on paper towels to drain all the excess milk.
Step 3:
While drying is getting wet, prepare the filling. Peel medium-sized onions from the husk, rinse with cold water and grate on a fine grater. If you want, the onion can be cut as small as possible with a knife. Send the chopped onion to the minced meat.
Step 4:
Beat one chicken egg into the minced meat. Add salt and pepper to taste. Mix the minced meat well until smooth with a spoon or hand.
Step 5:
Grate the hard cheese on a large or medium-sized grater. Take any cheese, the main thing is that it is delicious and melts well when baking.
Step 6:
I covered the baking tray with a culinary silicone baking mat. If you don't have such a mat, you can simply lubricate the baking sheet with refined vegetable oil. Arrange the bagels at some distance from each other. Put the minced meat in the middle about a teaspoon at a time. Put the grated cheese on top. Place the baking sheet in a preheated 180 degree oven. Bake for about 25-30 minutes until the filling is baked.
Step 7:
Determine the exact time by your oven. Ready-made warm stuffed bagels can be placed on a dish with lettuce, decorated with parsley leaves or basil. Serve with fresh vegetables, herbs, adjika, sauces.
In order for the oven to have time to heat up to the desired temperature, turn it on in advance (10-20 minutes before cooking).
Keep in mind that everyone has different ovens. The temperature and cooking time may differ from those specified in the recipe. To make any baked dish successful, use useful information about the features of ovens !
Any heat-resistant form is suitable for this recipe. If you use a silicone mold, then you do not need to smear it with butter or margarine. But it is better to lightly lubricate metal, ceramic or glass dishes with vegetable oil so that the baking does not burn.
