Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
Wash and clean the horse mackerel. Remove the heads and insides. If the fish is quite large, you can remove the ridge by spreading it flat.
Step 2:
Add some spices to the fish.
Step 3:
Add salt.
Step 4:
Stir and leave for 10 minutes.
Step 5:
Add the oil, stir and leave for another 10 minutes.
Step 6:
In the prepared baking sheet, put the fish tightly in one layer.
Step 7:
Put the onion and bay leaf cut into rings on top.
Step 8:
Place the second layer of fish tightly on top. Even at this moment, you can spread herbs, halves of cherry tomatoes and butter on the fish, all according to your taste.
Step 9:
Put the fish in the oven at 170 degrees. In 15 minutes it will be cooked, but it will be steamed-stewed - for dietetically minded eaters. And after 20-30 minutes it will dry out and become like on the grill. In this form, it is good to serve it with beer, or prepare a delicious salad with fresh herbs and summer vegetables and serve with cold white wine.
Enjoy!
