Pollock fillet baked in foil occupies one of the first lines in diet menus for people who watch their figure. There are no additional sauces that increase the total calorie content of the dish, only fish in foil, what could be better?

Pollock fillet is sold frozen, already separated from the carcass. If you could not find such a thing, buy a whole fish, defrost and remove the fillets yourself. To do this, cut off the head, tail and fins, gut and wash the fish. Cut with a knife along the ridge and cut off the fillet. Then, prying the tip of the knife from one edge, remove the skin. It's very simple, a couple of minutes and the pollock fillet is prepared. You can proceed to further preparation.

The dish is prepared in portions, so take two large pieces of foil. Form a small boat from each, just so that the liquid does not flow out while you are preparing the fish for baking.

Spread the pollock fillets in foil, one for each piece. Pour lemon juice, olive oil, sprinkle with salt and black pepper. You can rub a little oil, juice and spices with your hands so that the pieces are better soaked.

Peel the garlic, wash it, pass it through the press. Squeeze it right onto the fish so that the juice gets there as well. Wash the dill, dry it, cut off the rough tails, and chop the leaves finely. Sprinkle the fish with herbs and wrap the foil.

There is a special nuance here, you need to close the foil as tightly as possible so that the juice that will be released from the fish and the liquid part of the sauce not only do not flow out, but also tightly envelop the piece. In this case, it will not dry out, but will remain delicious, tender and juicy after cooking.

Put the fillets in foil in the oven for 20 minutes at 180 degrees (non-convection mode).

The fish is completely ready, you can unwrap the foil and serve it to the table. It is best combined with baked potatoes and light salads.

Bon appetit! Delicious dishes!
