Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
Chop the rabbit carcass into pieces, take the required amount for baking and rinse well in running water. Then dry with a paper towel.
Step 2:
Put a little mayonnaise and peeled and chopped garlic in a spacious bowl. Add a little salt and spices. Mix everything well.
Step 3:
Roll the rabbit pieces in the resulting marinade so that they are evenly covered with sauce. Leave in this form to stand for 40-50 minutes.
Step 4:
Then prepare the baking dish. Cover the bottom of the mold with foil and grease the foil with vegetable oil.
Step 5:
Put the rabbit pieces into the prepared mold and cover with foil. Place in the oven, preheated to 190 degrees, for 1.5 hours. Cook the rabbit in the open for the last 30 minutes so that the top is slightly browned. When baking, there is a very inviting aroma. Help yourself to a ready-made rabbit in a hot form. Enjoy your meal!
When I plan to cook rabbit meat, I try to use some new recipe every time. I like the recipe for cooking rabbit with mayonnaise because mayonnaise impregnates the meat fibers well and the finished rabbit turns out to be very tender and juicy. And when cooking, there is such an amazing aroma that it is simply impossible to resist.
Rabbit meat has a high protein content, low fat and a lot of useful substances. This type of meat belongs to a dietary product and is absorbed by the body by 90%. Therefore, rabbit meat is very useful for children and those people who prefer low-calorie food.
A rabbit in the oven can be cooked whole, or chopped into pieces, like mine. The only thing is that in its entirety it will take much longer to prepare.
In order not to think separately about the side dish, peel a few small potatoes and roll them in the same marinade. Spread around the rabbit meat and bake all together. For a long time of baking, the potatoes become so soft and tender that they simply melt in your mouth.
