Grate carrots, finely chop onion and garlic. Fry in sunflower oil for 3-4 minutes.
In a small container, mix sour cream with ketchup, add tomatoes in their own juice and send them to the frying pan with fried vegetables. Salt and pepper to taste. The density of the sauce is adjusted as desired - for a more liquid one, add more water, for a thick one, respectively, less water. We warm up the sauce a little on the fire.
We put cabbage rolls in a heat-resistant form, pour the sauce, add a bay leaf. We send it to the oven, preheated to 190 degrees, for half an hour. We check the readiness during cooking, since the time directly depends on the type of oven.
We serve cabbage rolls hot, garnished with herbs.
