Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 25 min
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

How to make coffee with cinnamon? Prepare the necessary ingredients. Take your favorite coffee of the degree of roasting that you like best. You can use coffee already ground, or take coffee beans and grind them into dust in a special coffee grinder. In the second variant, the drink will turn out more fragrant, because the freshly ground grain has not yet had time to erode. Take clean drinking water, without foreign tastes.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Rinse the turk with hot water and put it on a slow fire so that it dries and warms up. In a hot turk, the aroma of coffee powder will open faster.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Pour 2 tsp. with a mound of ground coffee into the jezva (the Eastern name of the Turks) and put it on a slow fire. Warm up the coffee powder for 1 minute.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

Pour ground cinnamon and sugar into the turkey, pour in clean cold water and mix with a special long-handled coffee spoon. I have a large Turk, for two servings of a drink of 150 ml each. The jezva should not be filled to the brim, but to the narrow part of the neck, because after boiling the coffee begins to foam and rise strongly. If the turk is filled to the brim, then some of the coffee will simply flow out of it.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

Put the jezva on a slow fire and bring the coffee to a boil. When the drink boils and the foam begins to rise from the turkey, wait until it almost reaches the edge and quickly remove it from the fire. After that, you can let the coffee brew for a couple of minutes and pour into cups. But I repeat the procedure with boiling 2 more times: I let the foam settle a little and return the jezva to the fire. I bring it to a boil again and remove it from the fire again. And again.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

After that, pour the coffee into cups and serve it to the table. If desired, you can add milk or cream to the coffee. Enjoy your meal!

If you don't like to mess with ground coffee, but prefer instant coffee, then you just need to put cinnamon and sugar in a cup of coffee, pour boiling water and let the drink brew for 3-5 minutes.

In addition to cinnamon, you can add a small star of star anise and a bud of cloves to the turk - the drink will turn out more fragrant.

For cooking, it is better to use filtered or bottled water that is neutral to taste. If you use tap water, keep in mind that it can give the dish an unpleasant characteristic taste.

Instead of sugar, you can use a sweetener that is not afraid of heat treatment.

For many people around the world, morning begins with a cup of coffee. Some people like strong ground coffee without spices and without sugar, others prefer instant coffee with cream or milk... And we will brew freshly ground coffee with ground cinnamon and sugar.
