Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
Prepare the ingredients for the buns. There are quite a few recipes for yeast-free dough for buns. One of the simplest and most successful is the dough cooked on kefir. Products from this dough are very soft and delicate. The products necessary for the recipe stored in the refrigerator must be removed in advance. Pour in kefir (it should also be at room temperature), add soda. Mix the ingredients with a hand whisk.
Step 2:
Leave the mixture on the table for 20 minutes so that an alkaline reaction occurs. Bubbles will appear on the surface of the mixture. Beat the chicken eggs into another deep bowl, add sugar.
Step 3:
Beat with a mixer or a hand whisk until the sugar completely dissolves and foam appears on the surface. Add the softened butter, beat again until the mixture is homogeneous. Pour kefir into this mixture.
Step 4:
Pour in the sifted wheat flour, the flour should be laid in parts so that the dough does not turn out too tight. If necessary, in the process of kneading the dough, you can add a little flour.
Step 5:
You need to focus on the consistency of the dough. It should be elastic, smooth and soft. For flavor, you can add a pinch of vanilla.
Step 6:
Leave the dough in a cup, covered with cling film on top, on the table for 20 minutes.
Step 7:
Roll out the dough into a sausage, cut it into small pieces, from which we form buns.
Step 8:
We put the buns in a greased form.
Step 9:
To make the buns even tastier and more beautiful, you can sprinkle them with sweet streusel. To do this, rub a piece of butter with the addition of sugar and flour into the crumbs. Sprinkle this crumble on top of the buns. The oven is heated to 180 degrees. Bake the buns for about 25 minutes. They should turn red. We serve buns to the table, with tea, coffee, cocoa or milk. Bon appetit!
