Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
To prepare the boats, the first step is to prepare the filling. To do this, peel the onion from the husk and rinse in cold water. Chop the onion finely with a sharp knife.
Step 2:
Put the required amount of minced meat into a spacious bowl. Add finely chopped onion to it. Add a little salt and spices to taste. As a spice, it will be enough to add a little ground black pepper and dry dill or parsley.
Step 3:
Mix the whole mass with your hands until a homogeneous consistency, so that all the ingredients mix evenly with each other.
Step 4:
Puff pastry is most often used purchased frozen. Therefore, take it out of the freezer in advance and let it melt. Place the dough on a lightly floured table. Roll it out a little and cut it into rectangles. Make incisions on each rectangle on the sides.
Step 5:
Put a little meat filling in the center of each rectangle and sprinkle with pre-grated cheese. Then wrap one part of the dough with a cut into the filling. And then the second part. Thus, the filling will peek out of the cuts. Pinch the edges a little.
Step 6:
Place the finished puff pastry boats on a baking sheet covered with cooking paper. Brush each boat with egg yolk and sprinkle a little sesame seeds. Place the baking sheet in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees, for 30-40 minutes.
Step 7:
The finished boats will become a beautiful golden color. Remove them from the oven, cool them down a little and help yourself. Bon appetit!
Ready-made boats are very satisfying. The outside is crispy puff pastry, and inside is juicy and fragrant meat filling, which can be varied with various additions, such as pickles, mushrooms, tomatoes, smoked bacon.
You can cook such pastries as a snack, you can take them with you to work or just for a family dinner.
Very tasty in hot form. Help yourself!
