Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
I bring to your attention a recipe in which I will tell you how to bake buns from dough on sour cream. We prepare products according to the list. In addition to them, we may also need chocolate, nuts and cinnamon for the filling, well, if you want it!
Step 2:
Prepare the dough for our buns, for this we add yeast and sugar to the warm milk, mix everything thoroughly until the sugar dissolves. At this stage, you can leave the milk mixture for 15 minutes to stand, so that the yeast comes to life, but I do not do this, since it is not the first time I cook with this yeast, so I knead the dough right away. If you are not sure about the quality of yeast, then it is better to leave them to come to life until the foam cap appears.
Step 3:
Next, add the egg, melted butter and sour cream to the milk mixture, mix everything until smooth.
Step 4:
Add ground cardamom and ginger to the flour and sift everything thoroughly (you can use vanilla instead, you can also add fresh ginger or lemon / orange zest to the dough).
Step 5:
Start kneading the dough.
Step 6:
It turns out soft and elastic. Flour may need more or less, focus more on the dough. We form a ball from the dough.
Step 7:
We put it in a bowl, cover it with cling film and send it to a warm place to rise for 40 minutes.
Step 8:
During this time it should rise well.
Step 9:
We crumble the dough that has come up and spread it on a floured table. We roll out the dough not very thinly, with the help of a glass we cut out circles.
Step 10:
You can sprinkle cinnamon circles or put some grated chocolate and nuts on them as a filling - you will get products with different fillings.
Step 11:
We fold the blanks first in half, then in half again.
Step 12:
We put three pieces each into muffin-cupcake molds.
Step 13:
We leave our buns on the tincture for 15 minutes until the volume increases, lubricate the buns with egg and sprinkle with sugar if desired.
Step 14:
Bake the buns in a preheated oven at 180C until golden brown for about 15 minutes. We take the buns out of the oven, let them cool down and serve them to the table. Bon appetit!
They look aesthetically pleasing, taste amazing!
