Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
How to make school cutlets? Prepare the products. It is better to take minced meat from a mixture of beef and pork, then the cutlets will be more juicy. Take yesterday's bread, which is already a little stale.
Step 2:
In a bowl, pour the broken white bread into pieces with milk. When the bread swells and absorbs the milk, mash it with your hands, a spoon or a blender into a homogeneous mass. Combine the bread mixture with the minced meat, mix. Peel and chop the onion in any convenient way — with a knife, grater, chopper. Add the onion to the minced meat, add salt and ground black pepper. Mix the minced meat thoroughly so that the spices are well mixed.
Step 3:
Eggs are not added to school cutlets, bread mass diluted in milk glues the minced meat well and the cutlets do not crumble during heat treatment. Shape the cutlets of the desired size, oblong or round, with your hands soaked in cold water. In a separate plate, pour the flour for breading, roll the cutlets in it from all sides.
Step 4:
Put the cutlets on a greased baking sheet and bake them in the oven for about 25 minutes at 180 degrees. They should turn red. Cutlets become lush and airy, and thanks to this method of processing — tasty and healthy, which is important for children. Bon appetit!
In the school cafeteria, such cutlets are given to schoolchildren with porridge and mashed potatoes, but they are especially tasty and, of course, children like them, with bread and fresh vegetables.
So that the mucous membrane of the eyes is not irritated when slicing onions, rinse the onion and knife with cold water. The cutting board will not absorb the unpleasant onion smell if you rub it with a piece of lemon before slicing.
Keep in mind that everyone's ovens are different. The temperature and cooking time may differ from those specified in the recipe. To make any baked dish successful, use useful information about the features of ovens !
So that the oven has time to heat up to the desired temperature, turn it on in advance (10-20 minutes before the start of cooking).
