Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
How to make cookies without eggs and butter? Prepare the products. Take natural, fragrant honey, it is better if it is liquid. Melt the candied thick honey in a water bath. Use refined, odorless vegetable oil.
Step 2:
Combine the sifted flour, baking powder and sugar. Sifting will not only rid the flour of possible debris, but also saturate it with oxygen, which will improve the quality of baking. Mix the dry ingredients.
Step 3:
Mix honey with vegetable oil as much as possible, it all depends on the density of honey. Add the mixture to the dough. Mix it up. In the resulting crumbs, start adding water in parts, kneading the dough. Be prepared for the fact that flour may need more or less than indicated in the recipe. Focus not on the amount of flour, but on the desired consistency of the dough. It should become homogeneous, not sticky, but at the same time remain soft.
Step 4:
Dust the surface of the table with flour, roll out the dough into a thin layer (3-4 mm).
Step 5:
Squeeze out the shapes with molds or cut the dough into pieces. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake at 180 degrees for literally 10 minutes, until golden brown. Serve to tolu warm or cooled — it is good in any form. Bon appetit!
