Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
How to make a cake on kefir with chicken? Prepare the products. Chicken fillet you can take from any part of the chicken, I have breast fillet. The filling will turn out juicier from the chilled meat. Pre-defrost frozen fillets. Kefir is suitable for any fat content, it is better if it is at room temperature.
Step 2:
First of all, prepare the filling. How to make the filling? Peel the onion and cut it into thin feathers.
Step 3:
Wash the fillets and dry them well with a paper towel. Cut it arbitrarily, I cut it into strips.
Step 4:
In a frying pan over medium heat, heat the vegetable oil for frying. Fry the onion on it until golden brown.
Step 5:
Add the chicken fillet to the pan and fry it, stirring, with the onion until the liquid evaporates.
Step 6:
Add salt.
Step 7:
And pepper. You can also use any spices to taste. Mix it up. The filling is ready.
Step 8:
Now prepare the dough. How to make dough? Take a deep bowl, pour kefir into it, add soda. Mix it up.
Step 9:
Then add the egg, salt, mix everything again. Then, in small portions, enter the sifted flour and knead the dough. Be prepared for the fact that flour may need more or less than indicated in the recipe. Focus not on the amount of flour, but on the desired consistency of the dough.
Step 10:
The dough should come out as thick sour cream.
Step 11:
Take a suitable baking dish. I have a round detachable, 22cm in diameter. Cover the bottom with baking paper, brush it with butter and sprinkle with flour.
Step 12:
Pour half of the dough into the mold and spread it evenly over the bottom.
Step 13:
Put a layer of filling on the dough.
Step 14:
Fill the filling with the remaining dough.
Step 15:
Bake the pie in the oven preheated to 180 degrees for about 40 minutes. The exact time will depend on the characteristics of your oven. The pie will rise and turn brown on top.
Step 16:
Cool the finished cake a little and release it from the mold.
Step 17:
Serve to the table. Bon appetit!
Be sure to wash the eggs before use, as even the seemingly clean shell may contain harmful bacteria. It is best to use food detergents and a brush.
It is important to sift the flour to saturate it with oxygen. Then the baking will turn out to be airy and will rise well when baking.
Keep in mind that everyone's ovens are different. The temperature and cooking time may differ from those specified in the recipe. To make any baked dish successful, use useful information about the features of ovens !
