Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
Prepare the ingredients. We will also need ordinary wooden toothpicks.
Step 2:
First prepare the filling. Peel the carrots, grate on a coarse grater, finely chop the onion.
Step 3:
Fry vegetables in vegetable oil until softened.
Step 4:
Add minced meat, finely chopped greens. Salt, pepper if desired, fry until minced meat is ready. The filling is cooled.
Step 5:
For the dough, combine the whipped protein with vegetable oil, mix.
Step 6:
While stirring, we introduce a thin stream of hot milk.
Step 7:
Add flour and salt. Flour may require less, depending on its quality.
Step 8:
Knead a thick buttery dough, wrap it in a film and leave it on the table for half an hour.
Step 9:
Roll out the dough into a layer no more than 4-5 mm thick. We cut out the blanks for future pies using a mold with a diameter of 10-12 cm.
Step 10:
We put the filling on each circle.
Step 11:
Now we need toothpicks. The dough is oily, so it is not easy to make it. The edges of the pie are connected and collected with undulating movements on a toothpick.
Step 12:
About 14 pies are made from the whole dough. We spread them on a baking sheet covered with parchment.
Step 13:
Bake in the oven at 180 degrees. about 30 minutes until the ruddy color.

We serve snack pies in a warm form.
