    To prepare a salad, the most important step is to boil the beetroot itself. To be ready, it needs to be boiled for 1 - 1.5 hours, depending on the size. This time I decided to bake it, so it will retain more useful substances. To do this, wash each beetroot, wrap it in foil and put it in an oven with a temperature of 180 – 190 gr., bake for 50 – 60 minutes. Then take it out, unwrap it and cool it.

    Peel the cooled beets and rinse with cold water. Then grate each root vegetable on a coarse grater and put it in a salad bowl.

    Peel the garlic cloves and pass them through the press. Add the chopped garlic to the salad bowl to the beetroot. The amount of garlic added to the salad should be selected individually, so for someone one clove will be a lot, for someone five is not enough. Therefore, add a clove, try, if necessary, add more.

    Add mayonnaise to the salad. How much mayonnaise should I add? Beetroot salad turns out juicy and a lot of mayonnaise is also not required to be added. But as you like, I've seen fans pour salad with mayonnaise. In addition, when adding mayonnaise, I no longer put salt in the salad. But if it seems to you that the salad is slightly salted, then you can still add salt to the taste of the salad.
