Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
Prepare the ingredients. To make yeast buns with banana, we will need: flour; sugar; milk; ripe fragrant large banana; fresh or dry yeast; vegetable oil and salt.
Step 2:
Crumble the fresh yeast. If you use dry yeast, then you need to take less of it. In this case, about 1 tsp .
Step 3:
Heat the milk to 37-39 ° C. Add 3 tablespoons of sugar, salt. Stir until the crystals dissolve.
Step 4:
Peel the banana and mash it with a fork until smooth puree. For greater uniformity, you can use a blender. Add banana puree and fresh yeast to the milk. Mix everything thoroughly until the yeast is completely dissolved.
Step 5:
Add yeast and sunflower oil.
Step 6:
Mix everything thoroughly.
Step 7:
Sift the flour and pour it out to the rest of the ingredients.
Step 8:
Knead a slightly sticky elastic dough. I kneaded with the help of a kitchen machine using a dough attachment "hook". In the process, I had to add some more flour. Cover the dough with a towel and leave it warm for 1 hour.
Step 9:
Knead the dough that has come up and divide it into 8 identical pieces. Roll the pieces into even balls.
Step 10:
Line the baking dish with parchment. Arrange the buns at a small distance from each other.
Step 11:
Cover the mold with a towel and leave the buns to come up for another 20 minutes.
Step 12:
Lubrication. To lubricate the buns before baking, we will need an egg. Beat the egg until smooth.
Step 13:
Using a brush, grease the buns with beaten egg. Then, when baking, the surface of the buns will acquire a golden color.
Step 14:
Bake banana yeast buns for about 25-30 minutes in a preheated 180 ° C oven. Bon appetit!
Banana pastries are usually for an amateur. Even fans of fresh bananas, baked bananas may not be to their taste. However, in this recipe, the banana itself is practically not felt. It gets more flavor than taste from it. If desired, you can add 2 bananas to the dough, then the taste will be more pronounced. However, flour will most likely need a little more.
Bananas for buns are better to choose more aromatic (the aroma of such bananas is very pronounced, you can feel it right in the store) - then the baking will have a pronounced banana flavor and taste. Unripe bananas are practically not felt in baking.
