Prepare the ingredients for the curd-corn casserole. The ingredients for this dish are better to use good quality, natural, this is especially important if the dish is prepared for children. Cottage cheese will make this casserole tastier and healthier.
Put the cottage cheese in a deep bowl, add a pinch of soda, sugar and two chicken eggs. Punch the mass with a blender so that the curd crumbs completely disperse and turn into a homogeneous mass.
Add sour cream to the curd mass (it is also better to take the village fat and thick), milk and sugar. In order to mask the specific smell of cottage cheese and make a casserole with a pleasant appetizing aroma, you need to add a pinch of vanilla. Once again, grind the ingredients together with a blender or spoon until a homogeneous mass is obtained.
Then pour the sifted wheat flour and corn grits into the curd mass. Corn groats can be purchased ready-made in the store or independently grind dried corn grains with a coffee grinder.
If desired, you can add dried fruits or pieces of fruit, candied fruits, nuts or fresh berries to the curd-corn mass. Of course, they need to be prepared beforehand, washed, steamed with boiling water (dried fruits), cut into small pieces. But you don't have to add anything, it still turns out very tasty. The casserole will acquire a pleasant aroma if you add a little freshly grated lemon zest to the dough.
Mix the mass again, leave it to stand at room temperature in a bowl for about 20 minutes. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Mix the curd mass again.
Cover the baking dish with parchment, brush it with butter. Put the curd-corn mass into the mold.
Bake the casserole for about 30 minutes. But you need to focus on the work of your oven, the number of ingredients, the volume of the mold. The readiness of the casserole can be checked with a wooden toothpick, at the exit it should be dry. Remove the casserole from the oven, let it cool down a little right in the mold, then take it out and put it on a dish. Serve with sour cream, jam or jam.
Bon appetit!
