Cooking method
Let's start with the sweet filling. Walnuts are fried in a dry frying pan or on a baking sheet until a pleasant golden color. We peel off the husk and send it to the mortar. We thoroughly crush the nuts so that they become oily. If there is no mortar with a pestle, then you can suppress them with a rolling pin, but you definitely need to achieve an oily state. Mix the nut mass with powdered sugar, syrup or honey. The filling turns out to be viscous and very fragrant.
Now turn on the oven at 200 degrees, and cover the baking sheet with parchment and lightly lubricate with butter.
Let's start the test. Wheat flour is mixed with soda and sifted into a bowl to get rid of impurities and saturate with oxygen.
In another bowl, combine egg, sugar, sour cream, salt and vanilla sugar. All components are carefully ground until the sugar crystals are completely dissolved.
Softened butter or margarine whisk until fluffy. Gradually we begin to introduce the sour cream-egg mixture without turning off the mixer. When all the ingredients are thoroughly mixed, we set aside the mixer, pour in almost all the flour first and continue kneading by hand, trying to knead the soft dough as quickly as possible. Too long kneading, as well as an excess of flour, will lead to a tightening of the mass and the products will be hard and rough. Therefore, you need to work quickly.
Divide the whole dough into two parts and roll each into cakes 1 cm thick, constantly trimming the edges to make a rectangular layer. We cut the dough into small long quadrangles and put a generous layer of filling in the center of each. The edges are carefully pinched and lightly roll the roll on the table with your hand to smooth the seam.
Carefully transfer each tube to a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden. The time may vary depending on the type of oven. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve.
Delicious pastries! Have a nice tea party!
