Cake with jam on kefir

Fragrant and airy cake with sour cream. The taste of the cake is simply amazing, you can't even say that it consists of the simplest ingredients and is prepared literally with your eyes closed. Jam can be taken whatever you want, only without seeds: plum, strawberry, peach, raspberry, etc. But if it contains berries, then it is better to pre-kill them in a blender until a homogeneous gruel is obtained. When the cake is ready, put it in the refrigerator for a while so that it is properly soaked.

Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 50 min
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

How to bake a delicious cake with jam on kefir? In a deep bowl, pour the sugar intended for the dough and beat the eggs. Beat with a mixer at medium speed for 5-7 minutes until a fluffy and light mass is formed.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Pour kefir at room temperature into a separate bowl and add jam or jam - I took apple. The color and taste of the cake will depend on the type of jam. Mix with a mixer at low speed until smooth.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Pour kefir into a bowl with egg-sugar mixture, add baking soda. Mix with a silicone spatula.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

Pour in the sifted flour and gently mix everything with a whisk until there are no flour lumps left. The dough turns out to be of medium density.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

We lubricate the baking dish (I have a detachable one) with vegetable oil and send it to the preheated oven for 5 minutes - the oil will warm up and the cake will not stick. Pour out all the dough at once and shake the mold a little so that it is leveled. We send the dough to the oven at a temperature of 160 degrees for 40 minutes.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

Take the finished cake out of the oven, let it cool down a little and remove their shapes. I have a shape with a diameter of 16.5 cm - the cake came out high.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

Preparing the cream. To do this, mix sour cream with sugar. You do not need to beat with a mixer, but just gently mix with a spoon. We take sour cream with a fat content of 20% and above.

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8.

Cut the biscuit across into 2 parts - the convex top can be cut off. Lubricate the bottom cake with cream. Spread the second cake on top.

  9. Step 9:

    Step 9.

We also lubricate it with cream and you can sprinkle the cake with grated chocolate on top.

Decorate the cake on your own, using all your culinary imagination! It can be sprinkled not only from chocolate, but also coconut chips of different colors: white, red, green.
